Life Goals & The Pursuit of Happiness

There comes a time when one has to try and figure out “what they want out of life”.  The only real answer to this is “it depends”.  Why?  My goals are most certainly different than yours.  Good or bad, for better or worse, those goals define us, and help shape our lives.

Lauren and I booked a trip.  A trip both of us have been longing to do.  More on that later, but the following image should be a bit of a hint…

Alright, so technology today is pretty amazing.  We’ve got computers that fit in our hands, a wealth of knowledge at our fingertips at any given moment, and I swear we’re this close to having flying cars.  One thing that has always stayed on top of technology, and is a HUGE resource for entertainment while you travel, is your local public library. Best website for travel?

You may or may not have read one of my recent posts about the amazing honeymoon that Lauren and I will embark on this coming August.  What I forgot to mention was how much Travelzoo was an integral part of our honeymoon search.

Travelzoo’s Top 20 is one of the few mailing lists that I sign up for.  Every Wednesday, I receive the “top 20 deals on the net”.  This is a list of the website’s top 20 deals with all of the vendors they work with.  They do not spam.  They do not sell your email address.  I’ve since unsubscribed to everything from Groupon to Living Social, but Travelzoo remains faithfully in my inbox, once per week.  I have nothing against those other sites, they are just rarely something that I go for.  Travelzoo has been consistent in the type of adventure I’ve always looked for.

If you’re looking for adventure, I highly suggest starting with them. (Note: I do not have any affiliation with Travelzoo.)

Body Worlds at DMNS

Denver Museum of Nature and Science

Have you ever been in a situation where you simply flabbergasted?  For me, this is not a regular occurrence, but is still possible on occasion.  Body Worlds is one such occasion.  For this “episode” of Tenadventures, we went to visit this very special rotating exhibit at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

Because of the nature of this exhibit (and to avoid any legal issues), I will not be directly posting any photos to this site.  Rather, I will post the link to a Google image search for Body Worlds, found here.  Be warned though, the images are very graphic, so click at your own risk!
