Fun with power failure
As I sit here on my balcony on a cool Colorado summer evening with chocolate milk in hand (it’s the little things), I can’t help but notice the sounds and lights of my surroundings. Yes, we have your standard neighborhood folks walking their dogs, jogging, and for some what seems to be aimless wandering, but we also have sprinklers, very bright lights, the constant low hum of multiple air conditioners, and a steady flow of traffic. No more than just a few days ago, every bit of this ceased to exist, at least long enough to help me realize the importance of a quiet, relaxing evening. Continue reading
