I almost miss not having power…

Fun with power failure

As I sit here on my balcony on a cool Colorado summer evening with chocolate milk in hand (it’s the little things), I can’t help but notice the sounds and lights of my surroundings.  Yes, we have your standard neighborhood folks walking their dogs, jogging, and for some what seems to be aimless wandering, but we also have sprinklers, very bright lights, the constant low hum of multiple air conditioners, and a steady flow of traffic.  No more than just a few days ago, every bit of this ceased to exist, at least long enough to help me realize the importance of a quiet, relaxing evening. Happy Memorial Day!

I just want to send out a quick note to wish everyone a happy Memorial Day.  Please remember why we have this holiday while you are out enjoying yourselves.  I will be out as well, enjoying some fresh Rocky Mountain air.  Be safe, and go have an adventure!
